You can also have the "button technique" :

1) write your text
give your best here

2) select the text your want to hyperlink



3) push the "hyperlink" button



3) add = after the url



4) paste your url



And don't forget... give your best here

Guidelines for sharing links which might be relevant to newbies as well:

For those who might be wondering - you cannot hide your referral links in "TEXT-ONLY" urls posted this way - as we can still see the URL when you hover over the links. Refs shared outside of the referral subforum will get you warnings.

Also - using shortened links and then using TEXT-ONLY links to mask it at first glance is also something that can get you a warning. Always use a full link here - but if its long using the "optional" TEXT-ONLY hyperlink can be better visually if thats your preference.
